Visit to Our Faculty From Kütahya Hayme Ana Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School

On April 21, 2026, 11th and 12th grade students and teachers from Hayme Ana Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School were hosted by the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department.

As part of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Eren, Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, gave a comprehensive, enjoyable, and educational presentation on "Taste Theory."

The presentation covered the processes of taste formation, sensory analyses, and scientific approaches in the field of gastronomy; providing highly informative content for the participants. During the visit, our faculty, educational facilities, and practical kitchen were also introduced to our guests. In the practical kitchen, as part of the "Cutting Techniques" session, basic cutting methods were demonstrated practically by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Eren; participants had the opportunity to observe the process and gain knowledge. We believe that this productive meeting, which included both theoretical and practical explanations, increased our students' professional awareness and strengthened the mutual sharing of knowledge and experience.
